About the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)
The National Road Authority of India consists mainly of a law passed by the Parliament under the Law of the National Road Authority of India, of 1998. NHAI is responsible for the development, management, and maintenance of national roads. This is entrusted to him and for related or accessory issues. The National Highway Authority was commissioned in February 1995 with the appointment of Charman and others full time.
