Educational Qualification
- Assistant Commandant (Engineer) – Must be officers of Officers of the Central or the State
Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis. (OR) with 05 years’ regular service in level 12. (OR) 10 years regular service in level or total 15 years service in group A. (OR) Passed Degree in Civil engineering along with 10 years experience of civil work. - Deputy Commandant (Engineer) – Must be Officers of Central or the State Government
Departments. (OR) holding analogous posts on regular basis. (OR) 05 years of regular service in level 10. (OR) Must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering with 05years experience in execution of civil works. - Commandant (Engineer) – Must be amongst the officers of the Central or State Public Works Department or Central Armed Police Force holding analogous posts on regular basis or with three years’ regular service in the level 7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400) in the pay matrix. Must possess qualification required for direct recruits of said posts.

About CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force): |
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is the largest central armed police force in India. It operates under the auspices of the Ministry of the Interior of the Government of India. The main function of the CRPF is to help federated/national territories in police operations aimed at maintaining public order and counteracting the insurgency. He was created as a police officer of the Crown on July 27, 1939. After the independence of India, he became the police force of the central reserve when the law on Police, December 28, 1949.
In addition to the duties of public order and counterinsurgency, the CRPF has played an increasingly important role in India’s general elections. This is especially true for the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar and the Northeast, due to conflicts and often violent conflicts. In the parliamentary elections of September 1999, CRPF played an important role in the security arrangements. Recently, Central Reserve Police Force contingents have also been deployed in UN missions. With its 239 battalions and several other establishments, the CRPF is considered the most important paramilitary force in India and has an authorized force of 313,678 people.
