Eligibility Criteria for BIT Recruitment 2019 – Faculty Jobs

Educational Qualification:

Post Name	Qualification
Assistant Professor	PhD in advertised discipline from an institution of high repute. First-class UG & PG Degree in the respective discipline and a good academic record throughout. At least 4 research publications in SCI/ SCIE/ SSCI/ AHCI indexed journals. Potential for excellence in teaching and research.
Associate Professor	PhD in advertised discipline from an institution of high repute. First-class UG & PG Degree in the respective discipline. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching plus research as Assistant Professor in a reputed academic institution
Professor	PhD in advertised discipline from an institution of high repute. ii). First-class UG & PG Degree in the respective discipline. A minimum of 10 years of experience of teaching and research experience in University/ National level Institutions of which at least 3 years as an Associate Professor. Sustained and proven excellence in teaching, research and sponsored R&D industrial consultancy activities.
Senior Professor	An eminent scholar with sustained and proven excellence in teaching, research and sponsored R&D activities/ industrial consultancies. Served a minimum of ten years as a Professor. Guided at least 4 PhD independently after becoming a professor. Minimum 20 Publications in  publications in SCI/ SCIE/ SSCI/ AHCI indexed journals.
B.M. Birla Distinguished Research Professor	An eminent scholar with high-quality publications in high impact journals, significant research contribution to the discipline and proven record of excellence in research supervision. A minimum of five years of teaching/ research experience as HAG/Senior Professor or an equivalent grade in the IIT/IISc/University/other tops 25 NIRF ranked institutes. Sustained and proven excellence in teaching, research and demonstrated the capability of attracting Sponsored R&D Projects / industrial consultancies as Principal Investigator. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and the technology-mediated teaching-learning process. Preferable qualification – FNAE, FNA, FNASc, FASc
