WCD Bihar Counsellor Eligibility Criteria
Women and Child Development Corporation Counsellor Education Details:
- Candidate must possess Bachelor Degree in Psychology/Sociology/Law; Degree in law ( BA LLB) will be given preference.
- Essential Experience: Minimum 2 years work experience with govt./non-govt. organization in relevant field.
WCD Bihar Jobs Age Limit:
- UR/EWS/BC/EBC/BC (female) – 40 years
- SC/ST- 42 years
WCD Bihar Counsellor Salary Details:
- Selected candidates can get Rs.15,000/- Month. (Subject to Revision ) EPF as per Govt norms.
Women and Child Development Corporation Bihar Counsellor Application Fee:

WCD Bihar Counsellor Selection Process:
- The selection shall be done through a 3 stage process, which includes Written Test, Computer Based Test, Group Discussion and Interview. The weightage of written/ computer based test shall be 60%, group discussion shall be 10% and for interview shall be 30%.

The Women Development Corporation, Bihar, came into existence under the Society Registration Act –1860 on November 28, 1991, to implement programmes for the empowerment of women in the state and formulate, promote, and implement various schemes aimed at the development of women in Bihar. It works under the aegis of Dept. of Social Welfare; Govt. of Bihar. Its vision is to ensure the overall survival, development, protection and participation of women and adolescent girls in the state. The WDC, over some time, has evolved its vision and is currently implementing plans of action, programmes and schemes for the advancement of women and adolescent girls with the support of Civil Society Organizations, Community Based Organizations and professional and technical Agencies for achieving its mandate, in addition to the regular support from the State Government.
